The Star Tribune recently reported on the efforts of Georgia Puppy Pipeline, a transport rescue group that travels across the country to bring dogs scheduled for euthanasia to shelters where they'll be adopted into new homes. Animal Humane Society is one of the stops on Georgia Puppy Pipeline's route.

The “Minnesota Companion Animal Protection Act” (MNCAPA) would force sweeping changes to every animal shelter in the state.
MNCAPA is based on impractical and unproven ideas about how shelters must be run. Its unreasonable requirements will hurt Minnesota animals; therefore, Animal Humane Society does not support this bill.
