Mark Twain once said, “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes.”

We at Animal Humane Society in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn. created Sniff Out the Truth to provide a comprehensive resource on the issues being discussed in animal welfare today. Sniff Out the Truth will also combat the swirl of myths and rumors that can spread so rapidly—misinformation about the views, policies and practices at Animal Humane Society that creates unnecessary conflict and distracts from our mission of helping animals.   

Where is all the misinformation coming from? Sadly, from some animal welfare organizations that operate under a different philosophy. They want you to believe we’re not doing all we can for every animal. By making shocking allegations against Animal Humane Society and using sensationalism to smear our good reputation, they hope to change the public’s mind about Animal Humane Society and sway you to their point of view.
