The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) investigated and found no cause to take action after determining that the disposal methods did not create a hazardous waste. In an effort to provide the public with accurate information, we have outlined the facts below, detailing the cremation services we provide and showing that they are within the bounds of Minnesota law.

In 2000, AHS installed a crematorium with the approval of the City of Golden Valley and following all standards for installation and inspection. The operation of the crematorium and the handling of ash remains are done in compliance with any applicable Minnesota laws.

“I just wanted to send a thank you to your staff and volunteers. We brought home Mona, now Sunshine, on Sunday and she has already melded right into our family and is bringing us such joy! She is my running partner, and our 4 yr old says he loves her and that she is the best dog in the whole world. Thanks to each of the folks who helped us meet her and make the decision to bring her home and also thanks to your organization for being such a wonderful resource.”
